Interviewer:[/i][Is shaking a bit, nervous about the elder man. Is sitting on the opposite side of the table from the vampire.] Of course. Of course I knew that. Where shall we start? Oh yes, how was your life as a human?
Soren;[/u] Do please quit shaking. The mere fact that you ask these questions are forgetful for those who don't need to remember such a time. I was the child of a woodworker, the eldest in a family of seven. We lived in the forests of Norway up near the North.
Interviewer:[/i] There isn't anything else you would like to share about this time in your life? Did you have a family?
Soren;[/u] Yes I had a family of my own. No you will not hear about them. There are things that should be left to rest. I'm sure you have relatives you would rather not speak of.
Interviewer:[/i] Sorry about that. I didn't know they meant so much to you. Who was brought you over and what age did they bring you over at?
Soren;[/u] I will not speak about my master. He doesn't need to be known to the likes of you. All you need to know is that he's a Council Member of the Vampire Court in France. I was brought over when I was in my forties.
Interviewer:[/i]So how old are you then, if you came from the Northern area of Norway?
Soren;[/u] 625 years.
Interviewer:[/i] Were you there when the Vikings were there?
Soren;[/u] No. I wasn't there when the vikings were there. That was nearly 300 years after they lived in Norway. I lived closer to the 15th century than the 9th century.
Interviewer:[/i] So what did you do during your human life? What did you do to earn your living?
Soren;[/u] You're questions are rather boring, but forgive my rudeness. I was a solider. My family were farmers, but I lusted after war and joined the army when I could.
Interviewer:[/i] Are you a master vampire? Your powers seem very restrained if you are. [Gulps as he says it. Regretting that he asked such a question.] And if so, do you have any kind of powers?
Soren;[/u][Grins a toothy smile.] Did you want to see what I could do? Yes I am a Master Vampire. I can easily make you my human servant if I wanted to, but I would not waste such a lifetime on you. I can control the shadows around me and I can drain power from vampires that I myself have sired if they were to cross my path in anyway. Would you like to see the shadows? I'm sure you saw them as you came upon this meeting place.
Interviewer:[/i] No no. I am quite fine. Thanks though. [shuffles papers around.] You said you can drain the power from vampires that you have sired. How many vampires have you sired during your lifetime?
Soren;[/u] That's a very good question, but not one I'm willing to give out. I wouldn't want them to come and rip you to shreds, but then again. It may be a sight that's dying to be seen.
Interviewer:[/i] So what do you do in New Orleans? Or how did you come about to New Orleans?
Soren;[/u] Are those two different questions you're asking me about? I thought it was one question at a time? I am just part of the Kiss of New Orleans. Nothing more. I will not tell you how I came to New Orleans. Its like anyone else who came to New Orleans. Go find someone who moved to New Orleans and ask them. Its nearly Dawn yet. I shall take my leave. You won't get the rest of your interview. [Disappears in a flash.]
