Newly Elected Chief of Police for the City of New Orleans. Adam Byron Vows "Justice will be delivered...."
I'm not real big on speeches. So pardon me if this blunt, bloody, and littered with butchering of the English language. I find it easier to bludgeon a man to death in a muddy trench than speak in public....
For a long time I've protected this nation from tyranny. I've also fought for those trapped under it's yoke unable to fight for themselves. Now the times have changed. We now enter a time of international peace. Not stable, but it's still here regardless. While the fire that is conflict between nations might have ended it still rages on the homefront. Between peaceable citizen and the lawless brigand. With the recognition of our gifted citizens of the night the flames grow even higher. Humans cry for protection from their darker elements. Supernaturals cry for justice from acts of violence and terrorism from human supremacy groups.
Your cries were heard when I requested to take up the mantle of Cheif of Police. To be at the helm of such a distinguished law enforcement organization. To be a steward of justice of this great city. To protect and serve. To maintain law and order. You gave me a chance. You granted my request. Justice will be delivered.

Man or Monster?
A local surgeon claims to have been employed three times by newly elected Chief of Police Adam Byron. Operations were said to include organ transplants, limb/skin grafting, and facial reconstruction. Provided all biological material, instruments, and $100,000 cash. "Couldn't tell you what he could possibly be. I thought I had seen it all. There is no possible way his anatomy is even remotely human. He was awake during the whole procedure. Wouldn't even allow me to use anesthesia."
Several members of the VFW claim to have served with him. WWI vet also claims to have met him at the battle of Verdun. A Korean war veteran claims to have seen him at Chosin Reservoir. "I loaded him onto a MedEvac chopper in Ia Drang. His chest was full of shrapnel and his legs were almost amputated by RPD fire. I spotted him the next day at the dry creek bed trying to break through NVA lines" says Vietnam Vet.
