I am twenty-two years old. I have no nicknames. I really, really hate nicknames. I am employed as a Federal Marshal, specifically as a licensed Vampire Executioner. I also have the gift of Necromancy, but I haven't told anyone besides my immediate family. FEDERAL MARSHALL FILES Subject Name – Isi Marie Runasimi Age – 22 Occupation – Federal Marshal, vampire executioner Notes: Isi Runasimi appears to have the power of raising the dead, commonly known as necromancy. It is a trait passed through the bloodlines. Isi father and grandfather both seem to have it, and both work as necromancers. Isi has passed a lie detector test by the Federal Marshal’s before employment, denying that she has said power. One only wonders why she is choosing to deny said talents. It would implement a great pay raise. Job Interview Transcription 24A1093-283 Interviewer: Where were you born? Isi: Here. In New Orleans. Interviewer: I see you are twenty-two. Young, aren’t you for an executioner? Isi: I’ve always wanted to be a vampire executioner. Interviewer: How do you get along with vampires? Isi: Get along? *confused* Interviewer: Yes. How do you feel about vampires in general? Isi: They’re… they’re okay as long as they are obeying the laws. Then I have a problem with them. Interviewer: Have you ever known anyone to be turned, attacked or killed by a vampire? Isi: No. Interviewer: Then why do you want to take this job? It’s a dirty and dangerous job. High paying but the risks are there. This isn’t a job many live through to retirement age. Isi: I… Fine. I will admit I lied. I hate vampires. They are abominations and shouldn’t exist. It disgusts me that they are given rights. But still most chose to try and skirt the laws thinking humans are dead. It’s not safe outside at night for humans and I want humans to be safe. Too many times have I seen a vampire try and suck some blood from a drunk girl or worse, read about a young teenager jumping into the sun regretting being forcefully turned. I want to do something about it. I want to scare the shit out of vampires. I want to have the law on my side. And I want to kill them. Interviewer: Congratulations, Miss Runasimi. You’re hired. Pay starts at 200,000 a year. Sign here. You start tomorrow. Internal Affairs Memo 38292-38210 Miss Runasimi seems to have an aptitude for violence. There have been allegations of nineteen warrants Runasimi served out where twenty-five vampires were killed. Though it is legal for a vampire executioner to kill any vampire that gets in her way of a warrant six extra deaths is significant. I feel that Miss Runasimi should be reprimanded and that the District Attorney should charge her with six additional counts of murder. Some things aren’t adding up. Vampires have feelings too. - V. D. Freudings Memo Stamped Urgent LETTER OF UNEMPLOYMENT To L. R. Smith, Victor Drake Freudings has been complaining too much. Fire him due to budget cutbacks at at the Federal Marshal’s office and tell him his services will no longer be required. Make sure he is to sign the attached confidentiality wavers and leave the building immediately. His possessions will be shipped to him. Also, be sure to inform him that any mention of anything regarding this organization and its members will have him brought up on charges of Treason. Don’t forget to interrogate him and see if he has any copies of his Internal Affairs Memo. Burn this letter. - V. (V. also burns Internal Affairs Memo 38292-38210 and places it in his fireplace) PSYCH EVALUATION This is a necessary psychological evaluation after the first vampire execution. Interviewer: So, I see you successfully completed your first warrant. Isi: Yes. Interviewer: How did it go? Isi: I think it went alright. I got the job done. Interviewer: Let’s see. The records show that you were supposed to kill a Mr. Jonathon White, 17, after he turned his ex-girlfriend against her will, a Miss Jennifer Waterman, 16. Isi: Is that a question? Interviewer: Pardon me. The records showed that you killed Mr. Jonathon White, Miss Jennifer Waterman and another unknown individual for … resisting the warrant. Isi: Yes. That is correct. Interviewer: Can you please tell me what happened? Isi: I went to serve the warrant on *pause* Mr. *pause* White. Only he was resisting as well as Jennifer who said she loved him and a friend of Mr. White’s. I feared for my life and took only necessary action against them. Interviewer: Were you aware that Jennifer’s parents loved their daughter, even though she was a vampire? Isi: No I was not aware of this. But I did assume it since I did not get a matching warrant in her name. Interviewer: *clears through* Isi: *interrupts* I deeply regret harming … fatally harming Miss Waterman but she got in the way of the warrant. She would have killed me to protect her vampire sire. Interviewer: And the other unknown gentleman? You had to kill him because he was protecting Mr. White also? Isi: Yes. For some reason this unknown gentleman as he is called in the paperwork wanted to fight me to save Mr. White. I do not know why. Interviewer: Are you okay? Isi: Yes. I’m fine. The vampires didn’t bite or scratch me. Interviewer: No, Isi. I mean emotionally. You seem so cold. So stiff. You seem to be holding back some emotion. Isi: I assure you. I’m perfectly fine. Interviewer: What did it feel like, Isi, to take their lives – all three of them. Isi: They are vampires. They don’t have lives. They are dead! Interviewer: Tell me about your father. . . I go online by the name Isi. I am also Winter. I am a student at the University. I love to read and role play. |
