Isi tied her long red hair into a ponytail. She was unused to the weather in Vegas. It was hot but once she entered the casino she was refreshed by long cool blasts of air. This was probably what it felt like to be in Antarctica. Isi spied the buffet table and her stomach grumbled for the wafting smells of the delicious food. She'd deny herself yet again because she needed to lose the five pounds she felt she gained. Plus that leech could taste what she ate and she'd rather eat rotten garbage then let him have one joyous sensation.
From her position on the floor she easily eyed all the cameras that were hidden so and then began to count the various employees and pit bosses on the floor. Isi had a gun and her cross on her and she was not going to check in either - she was a Marshal after all, even if she did come to the casino to gamble on her own time. She pulled out five thousand dollars and exchanged them for chips of various sizes. In a casino five grand was nothing so no red flags or eyes were raised. In fact, if anything five grand was a little on the light side.
Dressed in black pants, a matching black top, fine gloves, a diamond necklace and a fashionable half jacket to hide her weapon she took a seat at the blackjack table. Because she looked quite sophisticated even with her hair in a mess she was offered a complimentary drink. She obliged and ordered a margarita despite the fact that she wouldn't touch it. A serious gambler didn't drink. Drinking let you leave your guard on and you made horrible choices, like to give the casino your credit card and bet your next paychecks, your home and your car. Not that Isi had a problem with money. She just didn't like to lose but knew when to draw the line.
Isi bet small starting off at a hundred with one chip on the table. She took a card and then hit up for a second. Since they were both in the amount of 10's she split them and placed another bet of a hundred on it. Her drink arrived and she tipped the waitress with a five chip. Only in vegas could you get tipped a five.
[[I've got to go. I'll either finish or someone can post.]]
