She just nodded at the rambling barely paying attention. She only caught the end bit there and internally smirked. This one if not useful otherwise could be useful for a free meal, that was still useful. She basically kept eating not really caring for the flavour it wasn't even very filling due to it's size, she hadn't touched the sauce dubbing it not that special. She was also quickly realizing she was hungrier that she though.

The guy had spoken again, this time she paid a little more attention. She shrugged slightly at that and glanced a little thinking. "I've had worse things before this and I'm hungry that is all" That wasn't exactly sarcasme or a lie

So far everything had been okay. He kept eating piece after piece of sushi and listened to her speak. She said it was okay, and he just shrugged his shoulders and he continued to eat the sushi. All of a sudden there was this chill on the back of his neck, and when he let out his next breath he could see it. Fuck, when a room got this cold, that quick it could only mean one thing... Demon.

"Get over here!"

He grabbed her quickly and in the other hand he grabbed two salt shakers off of the table. Opening them both with a click of his finger he admittedly dumped them in a circle around him then bit his finger and added a drop of blood. The connection was made, and a second after it was a blast of fire made contact with the shield and it went around them melting everything around it.

"Umm... Nika... We are being attacked by a demon, and I'm not sure how long this shield is going to last."

A large burly man paced back and forth in front of the shield and he would give it the occasional punch as his fist would deflect off of it. They were in a small circle and pretty much body to body as he was going through his head of ways to get out of this and he wasn't sure what he was going to do.

"Fuck, if I had my staff I could dispose of him easily, but without something to channel with its going to be a lot harder. All we have to do is kill him, once we kill him his body will go up in ashes and go back to the depths from which he came from."

He was checking his pockets to see what he had and he was thinking about what they could do and one spell came to mind.

"I could teleport us, but I've only done it once.. and the last time I did it, well, lets just say my clothes didn't come with me..."

He sighed and wished he had more time to perfect the many spells that he had, the teleporation would only take them maybe the length of a three hundred or so feet away from this sushi bar but the demon could easily follow them, it was all up to her and if she had any ideas as he kept going through his head of the various spells he had in his arsenal.
